Bronxville School Homecoming this Week: See Schedule

Sep. 28, 2016: The Bronxville High School students woke up to homecoming week on Monday by wearing their pajamas to school. It is a week full of fun-filled activities including several themed days such as Blue and Gray Day, Uniform Switch Day and B-Day, where Bronxville High School students wear costumes that start with the letter B.

On Tuesday evening, the traditional parade and bonfire took place, and tomorrow night the sporting events begin with girls' JV soccer at 5:30 pm. The undefeated girls' varsity soccer team (7-0) will play under lights at 7:00 pm. During Thursday's games, fans will be treated to Food Truck Night, which will feature four food trucks at the field: Walters Hot Dogs, Food Grub Mobile (burgers and cheesesteak sandwiches), Kona Ice Truck, and Pizza Truck Company.

There are also night games at Chambers Field on Friday and Saturday nights, and the Bronco Barn and Grill will be open for "fine" dining. On Friday, the girls' field hockey team (7-3) plays at 5:30 pm, and the boys' soccer team (6-2) follows at 7:30 pm. During halftime of the boys' soccer game, the traditional Community Pep Rally will take place, and all of the Bronco teams will be introduced.

Saturday night the football team (2-1) takes on rival Dobbs Ferry at 6:00 pm. The Broncos are coming off a 41-12 win over Tuckahoe last Saturday. Their only loss so far is to out-of-league Hackley.
