MyhometownBronxville: Who are we?
We are your neighbors, and there are enough of us for at least one of us to be the friend of at least one of you. Some of us grew up here, and most of us have had children at the Bronxville School.
We, like so many of you, have volunteered our time in the community and care about it deeply. And, like you, we want to know as much as we can about what is happening in our village -- at Village Hall, the schools, the Planning and Zoning Boards, the library, places of worship, in the business district, in the real estate market and what is currently engaging the service, cultural and political organizations here.
MyhometownBronxville does this by providing the latest news, sports, events and information about Bronxville. We also have a Bulletin Board where people and organizations can post items for sale, events and services. We also send themed email blasts around special events and holidays.
Our staff is headed by our publisher and editor Sarah Thornton Clifford, who grew up in Bronxville, and, after college at Princeton and earning a master’s degree at the Yale School of Management, spent 19 years at Time, Inc., in finance, marketing, sales and management roles.
Jeannie Murrer and Susan Quinn DeJoy are our sports reporters. Neely Bower is our feature photographer. Brooks Clifford is our reporter at large. Many other community members also contribute to MyhometownBronxville.

Eastchester Senior Services & Programs
Eastchester Senior Services & Programs provides a broad range of community based support services designed to enable seniors to remain in the community, living independently for as long as possible. Programs are available to residents of the Town of Eastchester(including the Villages of Bronxville and Tuckahoe) who are 60 and older, and include: transportation services, in-home assistance programs, care planning and Medicare counseling. There are three Senior Centers with a variety of activities and lunch available. Gramatan Village engages community residents who want to remain in the home and neighborhood they love. We support aging-in-community with a network of volunteers, community partnerships and peer connections that enable members to stay independent, and fully engaged in the community.
