Eight College Squash Players from Bronxville Competed in the College Squash Association Divisional Team Championships

March 4, 2026: Eight college squash players from Bronxville traveled with their teams this past weekend to Philadelphia to compete in the 2026 College Squash Association Divisional Team Championships.
The players were Charlie Clifford (Middlebury College), Ronin Kaplan (Middlebury College), Katie Hennessy (Georgetown University), Scarlett Hine (Bates College), Gabrielle El-Masry (Dickinson College), Peter Vorbach (Hobart College), Turner Wolf (The Naval Academy), and Ben Korengold (Bowdoin College).
A total of 40 teams (over 360 players) competed in the tournament.
Men's Team Results
Hoehn Cup
The Naval Academy men's team and the Middlebury men's team competed in the Hoehn Cup, which is the top men's division of the tournament.
The Naval Academy team, which includes freshman Turner Wolf, had a great tournament, finishing 3rd overall.

The Middlebury team, which includes juniors Charlie Clifford and Ronin Kaplan, also had a great tournament finishing 6th. Charlie went undefeated in the tournament. About the event, Charlie said, "this tournament is always such a great experience and it's so much fun being part of the Middlebury team."

Summers Cup
The Bowdoin men's team, which includes junior Ben Korengold, competed in the Summers Cup, which is the second division of the men's tournament. Bowdoin had a great tournament, placing first. Bowdoin defeated Denison, Dickinson, and Hamilton to capture the title.

Conroy Cup
The Hobart men's team, which includes junior Peter Vorbach, competed in the Conroy Cup, which is the third division of the tournament.
Peter played #4 for Hobart and played outstanding squash throughout the weekend. The team finished an impressive 3rd in this Division.

Women's Team Results
Kurtz Cup
The Georgetown women's team, which includes senior Katie Hennessy, competed in the Kurtz Cup, which is the top women's division of the tournament. Georgetown finished an impressive 3rd in the tournament. Along the way, the team defeated Wesleyan and Middlebury.
This is Katie's final tournament of her college squash career, which has been outstanding. About her college career, Katie said, "I am so grateful for the opportunity to have played four years of squash with a great group of women and unwavering support from coaches, family, and friends."

Walker Cup
The Bates Women's team and the Dickinson Women's team both competed in the Walker Cup, which is the second women's division of the tournament.
The Bates women's team includes sophomore Scarlett Hine. The team came into the tournament as the 4th seed. They defeated Connecticut College 5-4 and upset the second seed Hamilton College in the 3/4 playoff. Bates ultimate finished an impressive third in the tournament.
Hine played in the #3 position for the team and went undefeated for the tournament. In fact, she didn't lose a single game the entire tournament.

Scarlett Hine
The Dickinson women's team, which includes sophomore Gabi El-Masry, also competed in the Walker Cup. Dickinson defeated Vassar in the first round before falling 4-5 to the third seed, Franklin and Marshall. The team then defeated Connecticut College in the consolation and finished 5th in the tournament.
El-Masry also won all her matches without dropping a single game.
