Bronxville Women Attend 105th Birthday Party!

Nov. 15, 2023: On November 10, a large group of women, including many from Bronxville, celebrated the 105th birthday of Mable Atkinson.
Mable is part of the popular bridge club "The Bridge Deck" in White Plains, where many women from Bronxville play.
The Bronxville group in attendance for the 105th birthday celebration included among others Peggy Theiss, Carol Guthrie, Mary Alice Carrajat, Patty Warble, Kathy Wynne, and Anne Kelty.
Patty Warble describes Mable as "an inspiration to all." "She lives by the motto "never allow anyone or anything beyond your control to bother you.' says Warble.
Mable raised two children while finishing her nursing degree. After retiring in 1983, Mable started playing bridge.
"She is one of the oldest members of the American Contract Bridge League and continues to play bridge twice a week," says Warble.
