Gramatan Village Names New President and New Board Member

By Sherry Saturno, Executive Director, Gramatan Village

Jun. 21, 2020: Tracy Lilly has been elected the next president of the Board of Directors of Gramatan Village, effective July 1. She will be taking over for Kerry Walsh, who has led the aging-in-place organization, founded in 2008, through a significant period of growth. Kerry joined the board of Gramatan Village in 2012, served on the Development Committee, Executive Committee, was head of Strategic Planning, and became president in 2014.

“Kerry has been such a wonderful leader, and the board is grateful for the wisdom and passion she brought to her presidency. I am honored to lead Gramatan Village through this exciting time, as we adapt and grow to meet the needs of the senior citizens of the greater Bronxville community.”

Tracy and her husband, Jim, moved to Bronxville from St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2004. Their three sons, Thomas, Gibbs, and Henry, graduated from Bronxville High School.

Tracy joined the board in 2014. She comes to her new role at Gramatan Village, having served on the Marketing, Nominating and Executive Committees. She was previously on the board of the Bronxville School Foundation, served on the Bronxville Middle and High School Councils, has been a grant evaluator for The Community Fund and a longtime officer of the Bronxville Beautification Council.

Gramatan Village is also welcoming Brenna Sheenan Mayer to the board. Brenna brings with her years of experience and leadership in not-for-profit organizations such as the United Way and Junior League of Bronxville. She recently retired from The College of New Rochelle, where she was Vice President of Advancement. Brenna and her husband, George, Village Judge of Bronxville, have lived in Bronxville for over 40 years, and their two children attended the Bronxville Schools.

Tracy says, “I am fortunate to have such a strong working board to help Gramatan Village fulfill its mission of supporting and engaging seniors as they remain in the homes and communities they love.”
