Dec. 20, 2024: The Annual Bronxville Village Christmas Pageant will take place on Tuesday, December 24th at 5:30 on the lawn of the Reformed Church of Bronxville.
A cherished community tradition for over a century, the Annual Bronxville Village Christmas Pageant returns to the hillside of the Reformed Church of Bronxville this Christmas Eve as community members, religious leaders and students from our local schools gather to recreate the birth of Jesus in the telling of the Christmas story.
A treasured childhood memory for generations of families, the Annual Bronxville Christmas Pageant continues to call us out of the chaos of the season to join our neighbors of all ages as we witness the nativity story brought to life.
The Pageant will include the Virgin Mary, portrayed by Eleanor Hale of the Reformed Church of Bronxville, accompanied by Joseph, portrayed by Brendan McGrath of St. Joseph’s Church. Maggie Arbuckle, also of St. Joseph’s will play the Manger Angel.
The Wise Men will arrive soon after, portrayed by Tim McGrath, Paul Shoemaker and Paul Muir, bearing gifts. Student members of St. Joseph’s and Reformed Church of Bronxville will portray angels as played by Faith Belke, Sabrina Belke, Grayson Curran, Finley Hood, Hannah Lescott, Serena Lescott, Eloise Liggitt, Lexi Parsons, Sarah Rizzo and Mary Rose Vorbach, all keeping watch over the manger.
The shepherds tending the sheep will be played by Stephen Shoemaker and Henry Palermo together with a loyal group of shepherds who continue to join the Pageant performances, year after year, along with a few shepherd boys who will do their best to keep the unruly sheep in line!
A tradition of the Pageant, the clergy from our community parishes will read the biblical stories of Christmas to the assembled crowd. In addition, Sarah and Grace Winant, both Bronxville High School alumnae, will sing the traditional carols, accompanied by the Brass of Bronxville Pops concert band.
The Pageant relies on the generosity of the community to fulfill its commitments and is funded entirely by donations. To contribute, you may send your donation to the Bronxville Christmas Pageant, P.O. Box 397, Bronxville, NY or you may donate using Zelle by directing payment to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thank you for your assistance in keeping this cherished tradition alive!
On behalf of the entire Pageant Committee, the Pageant Committee Co-Chairs, Kalen Strickland and Emily Johnston, extend an invitation to the entire community to join in rejoicing at the birth of the Prince of Peace this Tuesday, December 24th at 5:30 on the lawn of the Reformed Church of Bronxville.
