Dec. 13, 2017: The entries below are selections from the Bronxville Police blotter.
December 7, 1:52 pm, Courseview Road: Detectives are investigating the theft of Fed-Ex packages stolen from Courseview Road, Fordal Road, and the surrounding area.
December 8, 10:30 am, Studio Arcade: There was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries. An information exchange was completed by the responding officer.
December 9, 7:13 am, Palmer Avenue: A 31-year-old woman of the Bronx was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, Suspended Registration, and Operating without Insurance after an on-board license-plate reader indicated to the arresting officer that the registration was suspended. She was processed on scene and released pending her next court appearance. The 2014 Honda she was operating was impounded.
December 9, 9:40 am, Studio Arcade: A 61-year-old woman of Mount Vernon was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, Suspended Registration, and Operating without Insurance after an on-board license-plate reader indicated to the arresting officer that the registration was suspended. She was processed on scene and released pending her next court appearance. The 2006 Toyota she was operating was impounded.
December 9, 10:57 am, White Plains Road: A 21-year-old man of the Bronx was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree after he was stopped for passing red light. An inquiry into his driving record revealed that he has six active suspensions on his license. He was processed at police headquarters and was released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance on December 12 at 6:00 pm. He was also cited for Suspended Registration, Failing to Turn as Required, Operating without Insurance, and Uninspected Vehicle. The 1998 Chevy Astro Van he was operating was impounded.
December 9, 7:50 pm, Kraft Avenue: A Bronxville Taxi driver was issued a village code violation for Failing to Provide License after he was stopped for unsafely entering the roadway and the officer observed that his taxi pin was not displayed.
December 11, 3:06 pm, Wellington Circle: A female motorist reported that she had struck a pedestrian with the mirror of her vehicle. The male was taken to NYP Lawrence Hospital for an evaluation of his side. The driver completed a breathalyzer test indicating that she had not been drinking. A New York State motor vehicle accident report was completed by the responding officer.
