Oct. 26, 2022: Brunch has become very popular lately, probably because, with rising inflation, it costs less to have brunch than dinner. Here are a few restaurants you might consider and a few of their menu offerings.

The diner offers classic Eggs Benedict, with two poached eggs, Canadian bacon, and hollandaise sauce on English muffins, or Alaska Benedict with smoked salmon and tomato. Their Steak and Eggs features two eggs any style served with home fries and toast, and Eggs in a Casserole consists of scrambled eggs, English muffin, and potatoes, topped with melted mozzarella.

Just recognized as a Michelin restaurant, you must start with their tasty Guacamole, served with house-made tortilla chips or fresh veggies. Mains include: Huevos A La Mexicana, which is scrambled eggs with tomatoes, green chilis, and onions, served with rice and beans, or Chilaquiles, which is corn tortillas in green sauce with sunnyside eggs, avocado, Mexican cream, and queso fresco or Carne Asada Con Huevo, which is a skirt steak, a sunnyside egg, and avocado, served with potatoes and beans.

You can choose Egg Lettes, their version of Omelettes with mixed greens and home fries, or Bren's Benny's Eggs Benedict, in four different combinations. If you purchase one entree for $23. you can have a drink choice of Apple Cider, Mimosa, Bellini, Jack's Lager, Bloody Mary, or Punch on the house.

PARK 143 BISTRO & FISH - 143 Parkway Road, Bronxville 914-337-5100
Their Park Omelet features peppers, tomatoes, onions, and pepper jack cheese with a side of bacon or sausage. They also have Huevos Rancheros with black beans, pork chili, and smoked gruyere, and Brioche or Crab Cake Benedict, which is poached eggs, kale, pancetta, and hollandaise sauce.

You can get a complimentary Bloody Mary, Prosecco, Spritz, or Juice with a First Plate Choice of Insalata Mista, Fresh Mixed Fruit, or Soup of the Day. This is followed by Second Plate Choices of Chef's Frittata with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and mozzarella with a side of home fries or "Uova in Purgatorio," which is farm eggs, spicy arrabbiata, pine nut pesto, and crusty bread.
