Shirley Workman Bourquin, Forty-Four-Year Resident of Bronxville, Dies August 2, 2015

Mar. 30, 2016:  Shirley Workman Bourquin, forty-four-year resident of Bronxville, died of colon cancer on August 2, 2015, in Wayland, Massachusetts.

She was the wife of Pierre Bourquin, mother of Colette Bourquin Nygren and Pierson Bourquin, and grandmother of Annika and Alexandra Nygren.

A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, she was a longtime member of the Junior League of Bronxville, The Reformed Church of Bronxville, and the Bronxville Skating Club.

Shirley served as president of the Rye Figure Skating Club for over 30 years as well as a judge for the Gold Test, Gold Dance, Senior Competition, and National Theater on Ice competitions for US Figure Skating.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 10:00 am at the Plymouth Church of Framingham in Massachusetts.
