Pet of the Week: Skeeter
Jan. 15, 2014: Skeeter is an adorable six-year-old female Chihuahua mix. This sweet girl sadly and reluctantly had to be surrendered to a rescue group when her previous owner went into a nursing home and there were no friends or family members left who were able to care for her.
This lovable girl is very intelligent and well behaved. She is housebroken, has lovely manners, and walks well on a leash. She understands basic commands and responds beautifully to direction.
Skeeter gets along with many of the dogs she meets, but not every one of them. She may do better as your one-and-only pooch, but this should be determined on a case-by-case basis. More than anything, this small and darling little girl just wants to be loved. If you let her, she will spend hours on your lap cuddling and returning your affection.
Skeeter is in good health and is up to date with all of her vaccinations. Her adoption donation is $250 to help cover her medical and daily care. If you are looking for a very sweet dog who will cherish you and your family, you have come to the right place.
