Jun. 11, 2014: Meet Thumbelina! This beautiful and loving kitten was rescued from a windowsill in an old apartment building moments before the rain would have come pouring down on her tiny little head. She was found along with her three littermates when they were only weeks old.
Thumbelina was given her name because, in addition to being as cute as a pixie fairy, she also was born with extra-large thumbs (as was one of her sisters.)
It is believed the kittens were born in March of this year, making them about 12 to 14 weeks old--the perfect age for them to find their forever families. Thumbelina has long and soft fur, and her littermates are either tabby or tabby with white. All four of them are healthy, playful, loving, and good with children and other animals. They would be a wonderful addition to any home.
