By Allison Roesser
Feb. 24, 2016: Skip is a handsome and well-mannered one-to-two-year-old boy who is sweet and loving.
His good nature is even more remarkable considering the trauma he endured at a very young age. At some point in his young life, an evil person poured a caustic substance down his back, which left a line of scars running from the top of his head to his tail. Fortunately, now that he is eating quality food, his coat is growing back healthy and thick.
Skip gets along with all of the dogs and cats in his foster home, and, at only 35 pounds, he is the perfect medium-sized pet. This playful pooch is housebroken, shares his doggie treats, and sleeps perfectly through the night in his dog bed.
He enjoys going for long walks and playing with his buddies in the yard. Skip is also just as happy lounging around the house with his foster family.
Skip is in excellent health, has been neutered, and is up to date with his vaccinations.
If you would like more information or would like to meet Skip, please fill out an application on the Pet Rescue website at www.NY-Petrescue.org. The adoption donation for Skip is $250.
