Feb. 17, 2016: Oreo's cookie crumbled, but it was put back together with love. This two-year-old charmer enjoys people of all ages, especially children.
He was found wandering in a local Bronxville neighborhood and it is a miracle he survived. Left to fend for himself, this smart guy not only braved the elements, but he managed to survive without any front claws. Now that he is inside, he is literally jumping for joy with happiness. He is a total ham who seems to be relishing every moment of safety.
After everything he has been through, it is no wonder he has a submissive side. He knows that without any claws to protect himself, he is better off keeping a low-key profile when in the company of other kitties. It is believed he would coexist and eventually befriend other animals as long as they were initially patient with him.
Oreo dreams of finding a home that will love and keep him forever. He needs a family with a gentle hand and a kind heart who will show him that there are good people in this world.
Oreo is in excellent health, and he is neutered and current on all vaccinations. He has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.
