Pet of the Week: Heidi

May 2, 2018: Heidi is a darling terrier/hound mix who is one year old and weighs 45 pounds. She is a very loving girl with an amazing temperament.
Heidi is great on a leash and loves to go for a jog if she can find a willing partner. This well-behaved lady answers to her name and comes when she is called. She is active but will settle just as quickly after some stimulating activity. She loves to be with people and will follow you anywhere you go.
Heidi does not bark much, she travels well in the car, and she is housebroken and sleeps quietly in her kennel at night.
Tall and lean with a wiry coat, this sweet and gentle girl loves dogs and cats equally. She is being well socialized in her foster home with two other dogs and five cats.
It takes her only a moment to warm up to new situations. She will appear shy for about five minutes, then her lively personality will come bubbling out.
Heidi would be happiest in a home with another furry sibling to play with. This easygoing girl will fit nicely into almost any family situation. Healthy, spayed, and fully vetted, she is ready for immediate adoption.
