Cabaret Singer Diana Templeton to Perform at Bronxville Public Library Sunday, October 12

Oct. 8, 2014: Cabaret singer Diana Templeton will perform at the Bronxville Public Library on Sunday, October 12, at 4:00 pm in the Yeager Room.
Ms. Templeton will take listeners down memory lane with favorites like "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" and "Teach Me Tonight." Her program highlights some all-time favorites from her 27 years in cabaret, with amusing anecdotes from her nightclub experiences and poignant remembrances.
Cabaret critic Andrew Martin said, "Diana Templeton's medley of 'When the World was Young,' 'One More Ride on the Merry-Go-Round,' Jacques Brel's 'Carousel,' and 'Colored Lights' is among the most breathtaking examples of cabaret artistry within the last decade."
Diana Templeton has had a varied career in show business. Her many credits include performances on TV and radio and at country clubs, cultural centers, and libraries. She has performed in the smartest Manhattan cabaret rooms, including The Russian Tea Room, the FireBird Cafe, Danny's Skylight Room, and the Hideaway Room at Helen's.
She has nine CDs to her credit. Her talent was recognized and honored by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs when it presented her with their 2006 MAC Award for Best Female Vocalist.
The concert is free and open to the public; refreshments will follow the performance.
