April 29, 2026: The 250th anniversary of the United States will be celebrated on July 4, 2026, marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
The town of Eastchester, including Eastchester, Bronxville, and Tuckahoe, will be celebrating America's 250th Anniversary along with the entire country.
The town has created a special logo for the event and assembled a 250th Anniversary Committee. The town will be holding special events over the coming months.

250th Anniversary Committee
The 250th Anniversary Committee includes the following individuals: Elaine Provenzano, Gene Westmoreland, Donato Vaccaro, Jack Flannery, Jennie Steinhagen, Joseph Murray, Lissa Halen, Marilynn Hill, Mary Westmoreland, Michael Grillo, Nicholas Zanzano, Patricia Forgione, Peggy Conway, Peter Telesco, Ray Geselbracht, Robert Foster, Sal Provenzano, Vito Pinto, and Loretta De Simone.
The Committee also includes the following local officials: Bronxville Mayor Mary Marvin, Bronxville Trustee Helen Knapp, Eastchester Supervisor Anthony Colavita, Eastchester Town Councilmen Luigi Marcoccia and Anthony Giacobbe, Eastchester Town Councilwomen Sheila Marcotte and Teresa Nicholson, Eastchester Town Clerk Joe Dooley, Eastchester Town Superintendent of Parks & Recreation Sally Veltidi, Tuckahoe Mayor Cara Kronan, and Tuckahoe Trustee Josh Gaccione.
