Recent Mail Thefts Prompt Bronxville Police Department to Accept Village Tax Payments after Business Hours

By Christopher Satriale, Chief of Police, Bronxville Police Department
Jun. 13, 2018: Editor's note: On June 6, 2018, the Bronxville Police Department circulated an email with the subject line "Village Tax Bills" and the following statement.
Village tax bills have been mailed out.
As we continue our investigation into mail theft processed and submitted to the Bronxville Post Office I urge you to pay your taxes via online banking or hand deliver your payments to the Village Hall. We are patiently waiting a review of internal operations at the Bronxville Post Office by the Inspector General's Office.
After business hours the police department will accept your tax payments. If you know of an elderly neighbor or friend please offer to deliver their payments to the village hall.
Thank you for your understanding.
Chief Christopher Satriale
