Jun. 20, 2018: The entries below are selections from the Bronxville police blotter.
June 11, 9:53 am, Parkway Road: A boot was affixed to a vehicle rendering it immobilized due to $350 in unpaid parking tickets. The boot was removed after the fines were satisfied.
June 11, 5:42 pm, Palumbo Place: A 42-year-old woman from Mount Vernon was charged with Suspended Registration (misdemeanor) after she was stopped for an Expired Inspection Sticker. The 2006 Volkswagen she was operating was impounded. The woman, who was also cited for Unlicensed Operator, was processed and released on scene pending her next court appearance.
June 13, 10:38 am, Willow Road: There was a two-vehicle accident; there were no injuries, and a motor vehicle accident report was completed.
June 13, 11:05 am, Sagamore Road: There was a two-vehicle accident; there were no injuries, and a motor vehicle accident report was completed.
June 13, 11:28 am, Kensington Road: Police responded to a dispute between neighbors over landscaping work being performed. Officers determined that valid work permits were on file.
June 14, 10:37 am, Kraft Avenue Lot: A boot was affixed to a vehicle rendering it immobilized due to $540 in unpaid parking tickets. The boot was removed after the fines were satisfied.
June 15, 4:43 pm, Sagamore Road: A resident reported that an unauthorized PayPal account had been opened in her name and $426.97 in charges were accumulated. The incident is being investigated.
June 15, 10:27 pm, Elm Rock Road: Police responded to a call reporting a loud group of youths in the area. The group was dispersed; no crime was committed.
June 16, 10:51 am, Starbucks, Park Place: A woman reported that her two-year-old son had been bitten by a dog while inside Starbucks. The dog reportedly left two small impressions on the child’s right hand. The woman left Starbucks without getting any of the dog owner’s information and she did not take her child for medical treatment. She wished to file a report for future reference.
June 17, 4:47 pm, Park Avenue: There was a two-vehicle accident; there were no injuries, and a motor vehicle accident report was completed.
June 18, 12:37 am, Lawrence Hospital Emergency Room: A female caller reported that her husband was vomiting blood and that the hospital emergency staff refused to treat him. Upon arrival of the officers, the male was being treated by emergency staff. The caller and the person requesting medical treatment refused to speak to police after calling them to the scene.
