Pet of the Week: Sweet Eclair

Mar. 12, 2014: Great with dogs, cats, and children, sweet Eclair is one awesome girl.
Eclair is a gentle and kind mixed-breed puppy who is 11 months old and weighs 40 lbs.
Eclair began her time at Pet Rescue extremely shy. She has a scar under her right eye from an injury sustained prior to joining the rescue group. We can only guess what happened to her in those early months, but that previous injury is most likely the reason this darling girl is often cautious in new environments.
The good news is that since she has joined her foster family, she has substantially come out of her shell and is growing in confidence every day. Eclair needs to go to a home with a fenced-in yard since she is still timid when she walks on a leash. She thoroughly enjoys running and playing in the yard with her foster siblings and is now housebroken.
Affectionate, delightful, and engaging, Eclair is full of life and will make a great family pet. She loves to cuddle and is happiest when she is around people. Eclair is excited to begin her new life with a home of her own and is looking for a tender and patient family who will teach her that there are many good people still left in this world.
Eclair is in excellent health, has been spayed, and is up to date with all of her vaccinations. Her adoption donation is $250.
If you would like to meet Eclair, please visit the Pet Rescue website at www.NY-PetRescue.org and fill out an application. Please remember to mention that you first saw her on the MyhometownBronxville website.
