Pet of the Week: Frankie

Mar. 19, 2014: It was an early Sunday morning when she opened the door and found a sealed box sitting on her front doorstep. Attached to the box was a note that read: "Please take care of them. They are indoor cats and have never been outside. They are loved."
When she opened the box, what she found were two sets of sweet, little orange eyes staring up at her.
Frankie is an 11-month-old orange tabby who, along with his sister, was once someone's beloved pet. Frankie is as sweet as can be. He is curious and intelligent and loves playing with other cats. He also gets along well with the dogs in his foster home.
Frankie's foster parents describe him as "a real prize; a lively and perky kitten who is playful and fun." They also mentioned that he loves to be petted and hugged and gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets; he especially loves children.
This easygoing, gentle kitten will make a wonderful family pet. He can easily fit into almost any type of living situation since he gets along with all people and all animals.
For whatever sad reason, Frankie's former owner was no longer able to care for him properly. Thankfully, in the time that they had him, he was raised with love and socialized exceptionally well. Now, their loss is your gain and whoever ends up with this little guy will be very lucky indeed.
Frankie is ready and eager to begin his new life with a kind family who is looking for a special new addition to their home.
He is in excellent health and is litter box trained, and he has been neutered and is up to date with his vaccinations.
The adoption donation for Frankie is $80. Please contact Larchmont Pet Rescue at 914-834-6955 or visit www.NY-Petrescue.org to meet this rare gem.
