June 24, 2025: Meet Rosie! Rosie is an adorable, energetic pup looking for her fresh start and forever home.
This hound mix, only 4 months old, was recently rescued from a North Carolina shelter alongside her sibling. Both were sadly given up but are now secure in a foster home, adapting well and displaying significant growth and character.
She presently weighs approximately 34 pounds and is anticipated to develop into a sizable dog, probably between 60 and 70 pounds. She’s slender, fit, and possesses a composed, attentive attitude for her age. Even as a young puppy, she is showing herself to be a fast learner and quite independent.
In her foster home, she is getting used to indoor living and has adapted quickly. She sleeps peacefully in a crate with a cozy bed, receives meals twice a day, and is adjusting well to her routine. She reacts when named and is driven by rewards, which makes her an exceptional and quick learner.
Rosie loves playing outdoors with her sister, and although she has lots of energy, she calms down easily when needed. She has been kind to strangers, including kids, and has had a good interaction with a cat. Her foster family characterizes her as kind, curious, and pleasant to be with.
Rosie would thrive in a household that provides her with ongoing structure, training, and chances for exercise. With the proper guidance, she has the potential to be a loyal and energetic pup, perfect for any family. To inquire about or adopt Rosie, apply HERE.
