Trée Chic Benefit to Be Held in Two Weeks in Manhattan

Mar. 20, 2019: This year’s annual Trée Chic benefit to support the Bereavement Center of Westchester's Tree House program, which offers support, comfort, and guidance for grieving children and their families, promises to be even more glamorous and chic than ever before.
Trée Chic on Fifth will be held at the newly renovated and re-imagined SAKS Fifth Avenue flagship store on 5th Avenue. The date is April 4 and it promises to be a night full of fun, fashion, and surprises. Saks fashion experts will be on hand to reinterpret the latest, hottest spring trends for everyday wear and to give personal advice and fashion tips to everyone who attends.
Moving Trée Chic to Saks Fifth Avenue is the brainchild of event chair Betsy Putnam, a BCW Tree House board member and wife of Ian Putnam, executive vice president and chief corporate development officer of the Hudson’s Bay Company, the owner of Saks Fifth Avenue.
Betsy was looking for a way to add new excitement and buzz to this year’s Trée Chic benefit. “The Saks flagship store recently underwent a dramatic renovation. I can think of no better place to host Trée Chic!”
John Antonini, senior vice president and regional director of Manhattan & Metro New York Stores, said that Saks Fifth Avenue is a strong supporter of the Tree House mission. “The Tree House does incredibly meaningful work by providing counseling, knowledge, and guidance to those struggling with grief and loss. Now in our third year as a partner, we are especially honored and proud to host the Trée Chic benefit for the first time at our Saks New York flagship.”
Ellen Bryceland, BCW fund board chair, is enthusiastic about the move to Fifth Avenue. “Trée Chic was already a wonderful night out for a very special cause, but moving the event to the new Saks Fifth Avenue store allows us to offer more fashion and shopping for everyone. Women can try on the clothes they just saw in the fashion show … how fun is that!”
Of course, Trée Chic on Fifth will also feature ultra-chic food, impossibly hip drinks, the coolest music, goodies, raffles, and much more
Trée Chic on Fifth will be held on April 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Saks Fifth Avenue. Tickets start at $100 (30 & under) and can be purchased online or by calling BCW Tree House at 914-787-5001.

Boulder Ledge Garden Club
Founded in 1966, the Boulder Ledge Garden Club is rooted in a mission to inspire a deeper appreciation and love for gardening and flower arranging. The club is dedicated to fostering and promoting interest and knowledge in gardening.
The Club maintains Bronxville’s Bicentennial Park and other civic gardens. In 2019–2020 the club raised $18,000 to replace trees in the village, reflecting its active role in community beautification. It also holds garden therapy projects and educational garden trips for members.

Bronxville Giving Garden
The Bronxville Giving Garden is a community-centered garden that donates organic produce to Eastchester Community Action Partnership in Tuckahoe and Community Service Associates in Mount Vernon. The garden is also a gathering place where school children and volunteers can discover the joy of tending plants and growing food.

The Bronxville Green Committee is a volunteer organization that is part of the Village of Bronxville. It proposes and implements environmentally sustainable programs in our community.
