Sunday, July 2, 
2:02 am, Locust Lane: The police desk sergeant observed a suspicious male wandering from driveway to driveway on the village surveillance cameras. The male fled the area before officers arrived.

Sunday, July 2, 9:56 am, Greenfield Avenue: While performing a routine dark house check, Police Officer Paul Cavallo discovered an open rear door to a residence. The homeowner was contacted and the residence was cleared. The incident appeared to have been an oversight.

Monday, July 3, 2:40 pm, Starbucks on Park Place: An employee reported that an unknown male had attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill and fled the store with the fake currency when he was confronted. The incident is being investigated.

Monday, July 3, 8:05 pm, Kraft Avenue: A female caller reported observing a suspicious male pulling on the door handles of a closed office building. Officers located and interviewed the male. No crime was committed.

Wednesday, July 5, 1:16 am, Parkway Road: Officer Baldwin Firpo observed a 19-year-old male throw a bag under a parked car and flee through the backyard of a residence. The bag, which contained unopened beer cans, was recovered. The male was identified and his parents were notified of the incident.

Wednesday, July 5, 5:09 pm, Fordal Road: A homeowner reported that the walkway in front of his residence was damaged by a truck doing work in the area. A report was filed.

Thursday, July 6, 12:14 pm, Elm Rock Road: A caller reported what she believed to be foxes fighting among themselves or with another animal. Officers responded and were unable to locate any animals in distress.

Thursday, July 6, 12:36 pm, Tanglewylde Avenue: Officers investigated a report of two teenage males rummaging through the mail. Officers canvassed the area and were unable to locate the teens. No items were reported missing.
