Mar. 11, 2015: Is cabin fever getting you down? Have you had enough of the white stuff, the cold and gray days, and kids being home from school? You are not alone! Spring is about to begin at the Bronxville Adult School. Our classes will lift your spirits and put the "spring" back in your step!
Start by sprucing up your wardrobe or home. North, a new store in town, is offering a class, Find Your Colors, on March 18, where you'll discover which color tones and palettes will help you shine. Patricia Margro of Maison Rouge will also be on hand to help you discover the new you with spring makeup tones.
Then come hear the "Most Organized Man in America," Andrew Mellen, in Beyond Dust Bunnies on March 25, who will tell you why spring cleaning is the perfect time to get and stay organized. As soon as your house is organized and clean, maybe you'll be ready to downsize or upsize and put your home on the market. Take our class Getting Your Listing Noticed and Sold! on March 11, along with Optimizing Your Real Estate Experience on March 19, which will explain where to start if you're planning to sell or buy a home.
Get out of your winter food rut! Reconnect with friends and throw a dinner party. Take Nancy Contessa's Spring Fling Dinner Party cooking class on March 23 or 24. Or get exotic and learn how to make tapas in Spring Holiday Tapas and More at local restaurant Mambo 64 on March 16.
Make your Easter, Passover, and holiday celebrations fun and something everyone will remember! While you're at it, learn how to make exquisite gifts, invitations, and decorations for your spring events with Stamping and Paper crafting for Spring Celebrations on March 16 or Calligraphy for Special Occasions on March 19.
There's no better way to banish the winter blues than to get moving at one of our fun and fabulous fitness classes, including Walking Workout, Mat Pilates, and Zumba Gold. Or Tabata and Circuit Training. If you've missed the start date, no problem, there's is still time to join.

Bronxville Public Library
The Bronxville Public Library traces its origins back to 1875, when it was a small lending library housed in a room attached to the “Bronxville Model School.” The Library was officially chartered in 1906 and moved into the Village Hall Building. The needs of the library grew with the town and, in 1942, a new standalone building was erected, which is where the Library is today. Over the years, the Library was renovated and expanded to meet the needs of the community.
The Library has wonderful resources for adults and children and offers a comfortable and relaxing environment. The Library also houses a fine art collection, consisting principally of Bronxville painters and sculptors.
The Library offers special events, art exhibitions, and programs for adults, young adults and children. All events are open to the public, unless otherwise indicated.
