October 1, 2021: The Counseling Center extends a warm invitation to Oktoberfest, its Annual Appeal and Benefit, to be held at the Bronxville Field Club from 6-8 p.m. Under a spacious outdoor tent, guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and will have the chance to participate in several raffles. Proceeds will support The Counseling Center, a non-profit organization, in particular its fee subsidy program, which allows its professional staff to offer critical services, including psychotherapy, marriage counseling, and family and child therapy, to those who are unable to afford full-fee treatment.

October 3, 2021, 5:00 PM: Feast of St. Francis: Blessing of the Animals at Christ Church Bronxville,17 Sagamore Road, Bronxville. Calling all creatures great and small, and their human friends. Join us for this joyful and lively service as we give thanks for creation, our animal companions, and pledge ourselves to care for them. All in the community are welcome!
October 4, 2021, 6:00 PM: Special Meeting of the Bronxville School Board of Education. The meeting will be held in the Bronxville HS/MS Library, 3rd Floor, Bronxville School, 177 Pondfield Road in Bronxville.com. It will also be held via zoom conferencing. The public will also have the opportunity to view the public portion of the meeting on the School District’s YouTube Channel. There will also be a long range planning workshop on the same day and same location at 6:45. The workshop will not be recorded or televised.

October 12, 2021, 6:30 PM. The movie "Tesla" starring Ethan Hawke is playing at the Bronxville Library. It's is described on the Library website as "A freewheeling take on visionary inventor Nikola Tesla, his interactions with Thomas Edison and J.P. NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital and The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe are offering free flu vaccinations to those age 19+. The vaccinations will be given in the Bronxville Court Room at Village Hall, 200 Pondfield Road in Bronxville. No appointment necessary.
October 21, 2021, 9 AM to 2 PM: Free Flu Vaccinations. NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital and The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe are offering free flu vaccinations to those age 19+. The vaccinations will be given in the Eastchester Library, 11 Oakridge Place in Eastchester. No appointment necessary.
