Written by Anthony S. Colavita, Supervisor, Town of Eastchester

Mar. 11, 2015: On Friday, February 27, the ceremonial painting of the "green line" took place in preparation for the Eleventh Annual Eastchester St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The green line will be painted the entire length of the parade route. The parade will take place on Sunday, March 15, at 3:00 pm.
It will step off from Immaculate Conception Church and will continue up Main Street to Route 22 and finish at Lake Isle Country Club.
On hand for the painting of the green line were Grand Marshal Joe Houlihan and his aides Gerry Houlihan, Patricia Houlihan, and Jim Coleman.
Eastchester Supervisor Anthony S. Colavita, parade co-chair Brendan Lynch, and Eastchester Irish-American Social Club president John Collins also came out to help.
Supervisor Colavita said, "This has become a great tradition in our town and I can't wait for the 15th when the parade steps off."
