Bronxville Police Blotter: February 6 to February 14, 2017

February 6, 11:14 am: An unknown male caller claiming to be an employee of Consolidated Edison called a local establishment on Pondfield Road and demanded a utility payment immediately or they would cut the power to the establishment. Payment was requested by prepaid debit card. The establishment owner recognized the popular scam and did not comply.
February 9, 9:34 am: A homeowner on Pondfield Road reported that an unknown person attempted to enter three vehicles overnight. All vehicles were locked and alarmed and no entry was completed. The incident is being investigated.
February 9, 5:06 pm: There was a two-vehicle accident on Sunset Avenue; there were no injuries. One vehicle was parked and unoccupied. Officers completed a motor vehicle accident report.
February 14, 12:21 pm: At Concordia College, an employee received a threatening phone call from a former co-worker. The incident is being investigated.
