Monday, September 25, 11:28 am, Pondfield Road: A watch found by a Good Samaritan was given to the police desk. It has been vouchered for safekeeping. Anyone who lost a watch is encouraged to contact the police desk.
Wednesday, September 27, 11:22 am, Avon Road: Police officers quelled a verbal argument between a resident and a truck driver over a blocked traffic lane. No crime was committed.
Wednesday, September 27, 5:24 pm, Paxton Avenue: A business owner reported that a sign valued at $400 had been stolen from the street in front of his establishment. On September 9, at approximately 12:20 pm, an investigation that involved video memorialized on village surveillance cameras resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old man from Yonkers. The man was charged with petit larceny. He was arraigned by Judge George McKinnis and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
Friday, September 29, 1:47 pm, Elm Rock Road: A 27-year-old woman from the Bronx was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree after she was stopped by Police Officer Paul Cavallo for speeding on White Plains Road and an inquiry on her license revealed that her driving privileges had been suspended. The woman was processed on scene and released pending her next court appearance. The 2012 Nissan she was operating was impounded.
Friday, September 29, 7:40 pm, NYP Lawrence Hospital: Emergency officers assisted NYP Lawrence Hospital security with a verbal disagreement between a patient and hospital staff. No crime was committed.
Sunday, October 1, 5:20 am, Paxton Avenue: Officers responded to a 911 call about a motorist sleeping behind the wheel of his vehicle at the red light. The driver stated that he was just tired; he passed all alcohol field sobriety tests. No crime was committed.
