Bronxville Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Verizon Store on Pondfield Road on October 22

Oct. 25, 2017: The Bronxville Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday, October 22, at the Verizon store on Pondfield Road in Bronxville.
Bronxville police personnel responded to the location immediately and there were no injuries as a result of the crime.
The immediate response and rapid review of our surveillance cameras allowed us to identify and locate a vehicle used to flee the scene. We have already identified several individuals who may be responsible for the crime.
This investigation includes assistance from the Westchester County Department of Public Safety, the New York City Police Department, and the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.
While we are confident that this was an isolated incident, we have added walking patrols throughout the business district to further provide for a safe shopping experience.
