Natasha Nordahl to Run for Village Court Justice

Feb. 7, 2018: On January 30, 2018, Natasha Nordahl was unanimously nominated at the Democratic Caucus meeting as a candidate for justice of the Bronxville Village Court in the upcoming March 20, 2018, election.
Ms. Nordahl, a native of Brooklyn Heights, New York, has resided in Bronxville since 2002 with her husband, Stephen, and their three sons, Henry (18), Charles (15), and Oliver (12). Ms. Nordahl is a graduate of Duke University and Brooklyn Law School. She has over 20 years of experience litigating civil defense and real estate matters in the New York State and federal courts, including trials and mediation. For the previous eighteen years, she has been Of Counsel at the law firm Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer, LLP.
Ms. Nordahl has served as the secretary of the Friends of the Bronxville Public Library and of the Bronxville Middle School Council and is a member of the Packer Collegiate Institute Alumni Advisory Board. Ms. Nordahl has recently been appointed to the Judicial Hearing Officer Selection Advisory Committee for the Second Department. In addition, she has served as a volunteer fee dispute arbitrator in the Ninth Judicial District.
Having spent 20 years working in the New York State Court system, Ms. Nordahl looks forward to the opportunity to use her extensive experience to serve this wonderful community. She strongly believes “in the importance of an independent judiciary and that each person who appears in the justice court should feel that they have been heard and treated fairly.”
The election will be held on March 20, 2018, at Bronxville Village Hall.
