Feb. 14, 2018: The entries below are selections from the Bronxville Police blotter.
Sunday, February 4, 6:15 pm, Pondfield Road: A 33-year-old man from Mount Vernon was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree after a license-plate reader mounted on the patrol vehicle alerted the officer that the 2012 Honda Civic he was operating had a suspended registration. He was also charged with Suspended Registration and No Insurance. His vehicle was impounded and he was processed on scene and then released pending his next court appearance
Monday, February 5, 1:46 pm, Midland Gardens: A resident reported that they believed that they had been a victim of a financial scam spanning over several years. The incident is being investigated
Monday, February 5, 4:03 pm, New Rochelle Road: There was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries; an information exchange was completed by the responding officer.
Tuesday, February 6, 7:09 pm, Pondfield Road: A 58-year-old man from Belleville, NJ, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree after a license-plate reader mounted on the patrol vehicle alerted the officer that the 2017 Hyundai he was operating had a suspended registration for Insurance Not in Effect. He was also charged with Suspended Registration and No Insurance. He was processed on scene pending his next court appearance and his vehicle was impounded.
Tuesday, February 6, 11:19 am, Midland Avenue: There was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries; an information exchange was completed by the responding officer.
Wednesday, February 7, 6:47 pm, Sagamore Road: There was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries; an information exchange was completed by the responding officer.
Friday, February 9, 6:13 pm, Dusenberry Road: A caller reported a large group of youths gathering in the area. Officers responded and were unable to substantiate the call.
Friday, February 9, 9:59 pm, Sunnybrae Place: An anonymous call reported a house party at a Sunnybrae Place residence. Officers responded and spoke to the homeowner. No crime was committed and there was no noise disturbance at the residence.
Saturday, February 10, 2:26 pm, Pondfield Road: There was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries; an information exchange was completed by the responding officer.
Saturday, February 10, 5:33 pm, Midland Avenue: A 27-year-old woman from Mount Vernon was charged with Suspended Registration after a license-plate reader mounted on the patrol vehicle alerted the officer that the 2009 Nissan Pathfinder she was operating had a suspended registration for having 5 Notices/Suspensions in the last 12 Months. She was also cited for Operating with No Insurance. She was processed on scene and released pending her next court appearance. Her vehicle was impounded.
