Jun. 10, 2015:  It was an outstanding spring for the Bronxville High School athletic program, and the athletes were honored at the annual spring sports awards ceremony held last night in the high school gym. The success of the Broncos was extraordinary; Bronco teams won five league championships and four section titles. Sixty-four individual Broncos were honored with All-League recognition, and sixteen athletes from the tennis, golf, baseball, and lacrosse teams were given All-Section awards. Three lacrosse players, Henry Grass, Charlie Tarry, and Lilly Grass, were named high school All-Americans.  

The girls' lacrosse team had a near-perfect season, easily winning sectionals and regionals before falling to Honeoye Falls-Lima 14-10 in the state semifinals. The golf team won its first sectional championship ever, and the boys' and girls' track and field teams continued their tradition of excellence, winning both league and sectional championships. The track and field state championships will take place June 12 and 13 at the University at Albany.

Awards were also given to students who demonstrated athletic ability, leadership, and sportsmanship throughout the school year. The Lou Brinsmade Award was presented to two boys from the senior class, Michael Crawford and Steven Ircha, and the Virginia Landis Award was presented to Vivian Mroz.
