Nov. 25, 2020: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.
November 15, 2020, 3:10 pm: Bronxville Police announce the arrest of a 37-year old man of Yonkers, Stalking in the 4th Degree. The details are below.
A female employee of a Bronxville business reported that an unknown male made a purchase in her place of employment on November 5, 2020. After feeling uneasy over the interaction, the employee viewed the store video, which confirmed her fears. In the video, the male is seen recording the employee with his cell phone while massaging himself and positioning himself uncomfortably close to the employee. The employee reported to police that she observed the same male outside of her home in Yonkers on two occasions after the purchase on November 5th.
On November 14, 2020, the employee reported that the male returned to the Bronxville business but did not make a purchase. These repeated intentional actions with no legitimate purpose made the victim reasonably fear for her health and safety.
Bronxville Police viewed the surveillance footage from the establishment and identified the individual as a 37-year-old man of Yonkers. The man was known to the Department due to his recent arrest and subsequent release on November 12, 2020, for Public Lewdness, a class B misdemeanor for intentionally exposing his private parts in public. That incident occurred on the Westchester County bike path on the Tuckahoe/Bronxville border on November 12, 2020. The man was arrested on November 12, 2020, by WCPD for those actions.
On November 15, 2020, at 15:10 hours, the man was observed outside of the aforementioned Bronxville business again. The man was arrested and charged with Stalking in the 4th Degree, a class B misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in the Bronxville Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. Temporary order of protection served upon the man on behalf of the victim.
