Pet of the Week: Five Sugar Plum Kitties

By Allison Roesser
Dec. 14, 2016: The Sugar Plum Kitties are delightful babies who were born in late September. At 11 weeks old, they are now ready for adoption and are hoping to find homes for the holidays. Each one of them is a joy and is unique in his or her own way. All are friendly and have excellent litter box skills. This tribe consist of two males and three females.
Kirk is a beautiful short-hair buff/orange tabby. Friendly and precocious, this congenial little guy loves to be in the middle of the action. Whatever you are doing, he will want to come over and say hello. He happily enjoys being front and center when he sees a camera and was befittingly named after Captain Kirk, since he is quite the adventurer.
Charlie is a gorgeous long-hair buff/orange tabby. He is the the largest in the litter, but a gentle giant. Friendly, super-furry, and happy-go-lucky, this butterball is absolutely irresistible.
Emma is a super-soft medium-hair, light gray tabby with a white flank. She is a sweetheart and very playful. Unlike her outgoing brothers, she is more of a follower in the group and will happily say hello and receive attention once she knows she is safe.
Coco is an elegant, short hair brown and orange-ish tabby with beautiful marble markings. She is darling and rambunctious and has become famous for her splayed out poses when she naps. When in dreamland, it is clear that she is in absolute bliss.
Willa is a pretty, short-hair heather gray tabby with hints of amber. She is a little sweetie who is looking for a stable home where she can feel secure. Because Willa was rescued after her siblings, she has not bonded back with her group and prefers to be where people are, versus her siblings. She will follow her foster parents around and seems to feel better when she knows where everyone is. She would do well with a person who can spend a lot of one-on-one time with her.
If you are thinking about adopting Kirk, Charlie, Emma or Coco, please consider adopting a sibling as well so they can have a buddy. All of the kittens are healthy, altered, and up to date with their vaccinations.
