August 10, 2011: Lynne McLean Weiss passed away August 5, 2011, at her home in Fleetwood, New York

Lynne was born on February 19, 1928, in Baldwin, New York, to Thomas and Madeline McLean and resided in Brooklyn, New York. She married Paul E. Weiss on April 26, 1958, at Holy Innocents Church in Brooklyn, and they went on to reside in Bronxville. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2011.

Lynne is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and Serena Weiss of New York City; her daughter, Karen Weiss of Greenwich, CT; and her German shepherd, Madge. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Fannon.

Lynne graduated with a BS degree from Fordham University in 1950. Prior to marrying, she worked for AT&T as a Manager. Later in life, she was a real estate broker in Bronxville.

Lynne was a member of the Bronxville League for Service and Bronxville PTA. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Church, and the Coveleigh Club. Lynne's children were especially proud of her achievement as a Life Master in Bridge.

Lynne was blessed and surrounded by an incredible group of neighborhood and bridge friends led by Dr. and Mrs. Robert Gomprecht and the extended Gomprecht family.

Private cremation and interment services were held at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville on August 8.

In lieu of gifts, Lynne would want you to take a moment and make a positive difference in someone's life today, as many have done for her in her life.
