Sherry R. Kreek Dies January 28, 2015, after Courageous Battle with Breast Cancer

Written by the Family

Jan. 30, 2015:  Sherry R. Kreek of Bronxville died on January 28, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

She is the beloved wife of Robert M. Kreek and loving mother of Carolyn (Mike) Cassetta and Katherine. She is also the dear sister of Brooks Wright, daughter of the late William and Gloria Rennert, and aunt of Geoff and Scott Robson and Christian Wright.

Sherry was an intelligent, strong, and spirited woman--a character not to be ignored. From beginning to end, she lived life on her own terms. She was loved by her peers and respected by her daughters' friends. "Baby, this is as good as it gets."

Her leadership at the SDSH Salon, which she managed, left a lasting impression on clients and co-workers alike.

Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home in Bronxville are between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Monday, February 2.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at 10:45 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Perlmutter Cancer Center Research Program, NYU Langone Medical Center, c/o James Speyer, MD, 106 East 34th St., New York, NY 10016.
