Kenneth M. Bernstein Dies January 25, 2015, at Age 44

Feb. 4, 2015: Kenneth M. "Ken" Bernstein, age 44, passed away on January 25, 2015.
He is the beloved husband of Denise (née Kasten), the loving father of Macdonald "Mac" and Maeve, and cherished son of Daniel and Ann (née Lust) Bernstein.
He is also the devoted brother of Margaret (Chris) Santana, treasured son-in-law of Fran and Joanne Kasten, wittiest brother-in-law of Debbie Kasten, and courageous uncle of Thomas and Alice Santana. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ken grew up in Bronxville and his parents still live here.
A service was held at 11:00 am at Saint Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Avenue, Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Center of Northwestern University, Northwestern University Office of Development, 750 N. Lake Shore Drive, 9th Floor, Chicago, Illinois 60611 or to "Medical Assistance for Retired K-9s," 1951 Matson Lane, Lisle, Illinois 60532.
