Charles L. Schultz, Resident of Bronxville, Dies April 13, 2015, after Brief Illness

May 6, 2015:  Charles L.  Schultz of Bronxville died on April 13, 2015, after a brief illness.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 16, 1928, to the late Helen Atherton and Lockhart Schultz. He graduated from George School in 1947 and Wesleyan University in 1951.

Mr. Schultz attended Officer Training School and served as a second lieutenant in the Korean War. 

After the war, he started his career at Merrill Lynch and, in his later years, worked in the antique business in Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York. 

His wife, Eleanor Tulloch Schultz, predeceased him in 2004. He is survived by three daughters, Cecily Schultz, Susan Schultz and husband Matt Greene, and Jennifer Schultz Demaree and husband Bruce, and by four grandchildren, Kayla and Emily Conroy and Cameron and Jack Demaree, and by his loving friend and partner, Cynthia Shively. 

A memorial service will be held at The Reformed Church of Bronxville on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at noon.
