Ruth Peters Doyle Dies October 26, 2015; Service of Celebration and Praise Saturday, November 14

Nov. 4, 2015: Ruth Peters Doyle, an active member of the Bronxville community, died on Monday, October 26, 2015. Ruey, as her family and many friends affectionately called her, devoted her extraordinary life to her family, her community, and her church. Among her many activities, she was a member of the consistory of The Reformed Church of Bronxville and the Bronxville Board of Education, and she served as a training volunteer at Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care for eleven years and as a volunteer at the New York Botanical Garden.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Service of Celebration and Praise at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 14, at The Reformed Church of Bronxville. The interment at The Reformed Church of Bronxville columbarium will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully received by any of the following: Friends of the Bronxville Public Library, 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville, NY 10708, www.bronxvillelibrary.org; Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care, www.jansenhospice.org; Wartburg Adult and Senior Home and Day Care Services, www.wartburg.org.
