Stuart Clay McCandless Passed Away on May 20, 2020

May 27, 2020: Stuart Clay McCandless, 60, of Danbury, Ct. Passed away Wednesday, May 20 peacefully at his home.

Stuart was born and raised in Bronxville, NY. He attended the School system K-12 and was a graduate of the class of 1978.

Stuart proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years, He was trained as an air frame repair specialist, and was stationed in Plattsburgh, NY.

He moved to Danbury, Ct., where he resided for over 36 years. Stuart began his post military career working at Sealed Air Corporation. He became a well respected protective package designer, receiving many certificates of excellence.

His many friends and former classmates responded to his passing with loving memories and stories posted on social media. Stuart had that effect on the many people he touched throughout his life. Stuart made a difference.

Stuart is predeceased by his mother and father Paula and Russell McCandless of Bronxville, NY. He is survived by his sister Kate and brother in law Don Decker of Maine and his brother Jeffrey White of Delray Beach Florida.

The family would like to acknowledge all the kind words spoken about their brother. There will be a celebration of Stuart’s life in the near future.
