Pet of the Week: Ali

Oct. 15, 2014: Ali is a sweet eight-month-old black Labrador puppy who is all heart. He is just what you expect a young lab to be . . . carefree, with a "life is good" attitude making friends wherever he goes.
Playing fetch and frolicking in the newly fallen leaves are some of his favorite pastimes. He is far from a couch potato, and this energetic guy would love a home full of children or with an active adult who is looking for a walking or jogging buddy. Ali is quite clever, and with a little basic training he will thrive beyond belief.
Sadly, Ali was once someone's pet, but because of landlord issues his former owner was unable to keep him. Now this loving soul dreams of beginning life again with a family who will love and cherish him forever.
Ali is in excellent health, and he is neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. He is currently residing at the Yonkers Animal Shelter, 1000 Ridge Hill Boulevard, Yonkers, NY, near the Ridge Hill shopping center (just minutes away from Bronxville).
The shelter is open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays and from noon to 4:00 pm on weekends. The adoption donation for Ali is $80.
