Feb. 18, 2015: It was two weeks ago and yet another bitter cold New York winter night when this little girl was spotted. She was freezing and hungry and doing her best to eat the pasta out of the torn garbage bag she discovered.
Once she was safe and warm inside, this 7-to-12-month-old kitten was aptly named Tortellini.
Tortellini's colorful coat matches her beautiful and vibrant personality. She is gentle and affectionate and delights in being held and petted. Put her on a fluffy blanket and her little paws start moving around while a huge purr emanates from her tiny body magically filling the room with happiness.
We don't know how long this sweet kitten was outside trying to survive, but one thing is clear from her demeanor as she sits on the windowsill staring out at the seemingly endless snowfall . . . she knows that she is one of the lucky ones!
Tortellini is ready, willing, and able to fill your home with love and warmth. She is in excellent health and has been spayed and vaccinated, and she tested negative for feline leukemia and feline aids. Her adoption donation is $85.
