Pet of the Week: Fergie

Apr. 22, 2015: A playful and happy girl, Fergie will wag her tail all day long. This one-year-old Australian shepherd/collie mix is as smart as she is beautiful.
Fergie is always up for a good time. She is the first to start playing and the last to quit. She will enthusiastically chase any ball thrown her way but doesn't see why she needs to return it to you; if you wanted the ball so badly, why did you throw it away in the first place, is Fergie's logic.
Trips to the dog park, hiking, and rides in the car are among Fergie's favorite activities. She has a gentile way about her and will carefully take treats from your hand when offered. Fergie loves all people and dogs and she is already housebroken. She is pretty much the whole perfect pooch-package and will make a fabulous family pet.
Fergie is in excellent health, has been spayed, and is up to date with all of her vaccinations. She is ready and waiting for a family to adopt her and give her the happy ending she deserves. Pet Rescue provides all medical care, crates, and necessary support. All you need to do is provide food and love for your foster pet. The average commitment for puppies is two weeks. For older dogs and cats, the time commitment varies depending on the size, breed, and age.
