Pet of the Week: Chili Pepper

Jul. 8, 2015: Chili Pepper is an affectionate and playful five-month-old kitty who is a true survivor.
As a young kitten, this adorable orange tabby was tossed out onto the streets shortly after she was born. A neighbor reported the incident but stated that she would not feed or care for her in any way because "this cat" did not belong to her.
By the time Chili Pepper was located and rescued, she was dehydrated and malnourished.
Now safely in a foster home, Chili plays like a kitten without a care in the world. She no longer fears when her next meal will come.
No one would have guessed when she was first found that she would turn out to be such a firecracker, running all over, playing with her toys, and rolling around happily with the other cats.
She has a zest for life and is extremely sociable, and she loves to be held.
Chili Pepper is in excellent health, has been spayed, and is up to date with her vaccinations. Her adoption donation is $80. If you would like to meet her, please contact Pet Rescue at 914-740-4072.
