Pet of the Week: Blue

Nov. 18, 2015: Blue was the runt of his litter. But don't be fooled by his size; what he lacks in brawn, he makes up for in heart.
This unique kitten with the face of a lion is truly stunning. With white mittens and one blue eye, the other green, he is a total showstopper. When you first meet this tuxedo baby, you will find he is quiet and curious. He enjoys being played with and petted and has a sweet side that will stir your soul.
Blue adores other cats. He is never alone and would be thrilled to go to a home where he would have a friend to keep him company. He would also do well with a family that has children, as long as they know how to gently handle small animals.
Blue was in foster care for the first few weeks of his life. He has just returned to the shelter and is ready for immediate adoption. If you would like to meet this little angel, you can find him today at the Humane Society of Westchester (the former New Rochelle Humane Society).
The shelter is located just ten minutes from Bronxville at 70 Portman Road in New Rochelle. No appointment is necessary and they are open seven days a week from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, except Thursdays, when they are open from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Adoption donations includes neutering, vaccinations, microchip, and worming. All cats and kittens are tested for FeLV and FIV.
