Pet of the Week: Rebecca

Jan. 13, 2016: My name is Rebecca, but my friends call me Becca. I am a young girl who is new to the area, having come from a scary animal shelter that was extremely overcrowded. The staff thought that I was a great dog and would have a better chance of being adopted somewhere else. So here I am!
I am a young, medium-sized cattle-dog mix who loves to have fun. Pretty much everything makes me happy, and you will know that when you see me because I am always wagging my tail. I am very smart, too, and certainly understand that all business must be taken care of outside.
I am friendly to all people and dogs and am hoping to adopt an active family that is allergic to cats. If you take a chance on me, you won't be disappointed. I am a good boy and will make a great pet.
I am in excellent health, neutered, and up to date with my vaccinations. Please come visit me today at the Humane Society of Westchester (the former New Rochelle Humane Society).
The shelter is located at 70 Portman Avenue in New Rochelle (just 10 minutes from Bronxville). It is open seven days a week from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, except Thursdays, when it is open from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
