Pet of the Week: Laverne

Jul. 5, 2017: Hi! My name is Laverne, and I am wondering what the heck happened to my tail? It's just gone, and where it went is a total mystery.
I know you can tell by looking at me that I am adorable. I am an eight-month-old, 38-pound puppy who is perfectly well behaved. I am completely housebroken, I sleep quietly through the night, and I chew only on my own toys.
Not to brag, but I am also well-behaved, gentle, and calm, and, most of all, I am as sweet as can be. I am in a foster home with three other friends and would be really happy to go to a place that already has another dog for me to play with. Oh, I am also excellent with kitties.
I enjoy meeting friends at the dog park and taking strolls around the neighborhood. Not to be picky, but I would love to go to a home with children who won't pull my tail...oh wait, I don't have a tail to pull...silly me.
