Pet of the Week: Blondie from Hurricane-Battered Puerto Rico

Jan. 10, 2018: After Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico, many animals were left homeless and hungry. Several volunteers worked together to save as many as they could and transport them to the continental United States hoping to give them a second chance at life. Blondie is one of those lucky few.
Blondie is a four-to-six-year-old, medium-sized wire-haired terrier mix. She is housebroken and excellent with children, and she gets along well with other dogs.
This adorable girl would make a wonderful family pet or companion; she just wants someone to love and care for her after enduring months of survival and destruction. Somehow, after everything she went through, she is a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted pup. Now she just needs a chance to share her sweetness.
Blondie has been spayed and fully vetted. She is ready for immediate adoption.
