Pet of the Week: Berlinetta

Nov. 21, 2018: Meet darling Berlinetta. This sweet girl was rescued from Hurricane Florence in North Carolina. She is six months old and is guessed to be a Jack Russell/Beagle/Lab mix.
She loves toys, long walks, and cuddles, but most of all, she loves all people--especially children. Gentle, loving, and playful are just a few words to describe this lovely puppy. She doesn't bark very often and is already housebroken. Her favorite times of day are mealtime and treat time. This smart girl responds well to commands and should therefore be an easy pup to train.
Berlinetta gets along great with other dogs and will most likely grow to be medium in size. She is in a foster home in White Plains and is healthy, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.
She was rescued by SNARR Northeast (Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation), whose mission is to take in animals least likely to receive a second chance due to special needs but also takes in healthy animals that come from difficult situations.
