Pet of the Week: Luna

Dec. 11, 2019: Three-year-old Luna the Tuna was surrendered by her owner who decided to make a move, which did not include her. While she lost her home, she has retained her happy spirit and has that special je ne sais quoi that endears her to everyone she meets.
Luna is chatty, chirpy, and fun – she will tell you stories all day long as she cuddles by your side. She happens to be an excellent listener as well.
Luna the Tuna is a healthy, medium-sized domestic short hair. She is smart and loving and is hoping to find a home where she can celebrate the holidays. Her bags are packed, and she is ready to become a part of a new and loving family.
You can meet Luna today at the Westchester Humane Society. 70 Portman Road, New Rochelle. The shelter is open seven days a week; Every day from 10 am to 4 pm (including weekends) and Thursdays from 2 pm to 8 pm.
Her adoption donation includes spaying, up-to-date vaccines, microchip, and worming. All cats and kittens at the shelter are tested for Felv and FIV. No appointment is necessary.
